9/11 20 Year Anniversary

Twenty earth rotations around the sun have passed since our way of life and our freedoms came under attack.

Two thousand nine hundred ninety six innocent souls needlessly lost their lives as a result of backward ideologies that want to take us thousands of years back.

 

Time stood still as we all watched in horror the second tower collapse confirming our worst fears that this was no accident but an evil act.

For a brief moment we forgot our religions race color and politics played no part in our steadfast belief that we were on the right side and who the enemy was was an indisputable fact.

 

Two wars and many more lives lost since that faithful morning on September Eleven Two Thousand One but our enemy is looming large and still planning how to bring freedom and liberty down.

We must never forget that our strength is in our diversity and that freedom of speech and religion and being able to have political differences is the reason that amongst all the nations United States of America wears the crown.

 

So enough division and hate

 

Let’s learn from history

Let’s accept our petty differences

Let’s check our own extremist views

Let’s stand united and resolute against evil

And let us never forget who the real enemy is
